Inspired by a motif on the bottom of an ancient Persian bowl that I saw in the Rahim Irvani Gallery at the British Museum.
Measuring approximately 39cm in diameter this imperfectly round panel is composed of individually cut and shaped pieces of glass and constructed traditionally in lead came. Each piece of glass has been painted and fired in multiple layers rendering the paint permanent and suitable for display indoors and outdoors.
There are two hanging points soldered in place and is ready to hang in your window!.
